Hello: Still Seeking Farm is owned and operated by Michelle and Keith. The name? Two-fold actually. For the longest time in my life I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life. I finally found out. Second, we started farming on 2.75 acres. So we were “still seeking” that bigger piece of land. Well in January, 2011 we moved to Gilmanton, a 15 acre parcel. We bought the property for the land, as the house needs a lot of work.
Our farming practices are organic. We are now following the real food campaign’s practices. We feed the soil to increase the nutritional value and the natural sugar content in the vegetables and fruits we grow.
Currently StillSeeking Farm is a part-time farming operation while we both have full-time off farm jobs. We are striving to make it full time. We make maple syrup, have honey bees, we have eggs, a huge garden that we sell veggies at a farmer’s markets on Thursdays and Saturday. We make baskets, soap, I knit, can tons of produce for the winter and I’m sure there is something I’m missing. So this blog will be about our farm and its happenings throughout the year.
StillSeeking Farm is a proud member of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire.
